Boomerang’s Anti-Ping plugin automatically issues warning embeds when members mention users assigned an anti-ping role, helping high-level administrators and key staff avoid unnecessary and disruptive notifications.
Members with Boomerang staff permissions and/or the Discord “Manage Messages” permission are exempt from anti-ping warnings.

| Whitelisted Channels | Selected channels can be configured so that the app does not respond when a user with a protected role is mentioned. |
| Whitelisted Categories | All channels within this category, including any channels created in the future, will not trigger warnings by default when users with protected roles are mentioned. |
