Boomerang will occasionally assign special flags to a user or bot's profile on the /userinfo discord command. These flags exist to alert users of bad actors with malicious intent. Flags are assigned after careful consideration and users/bots with one or more flags should be deemed a danger to your community.

| This user is not a Boomerang staff member | This badge is assigned to users who have tried to impersonate Boomerang or Boomerang staff in the past. |
| This user is involved with malicious activities | This badge is assigned to users who have been or are involved in illegal or malicious activites. |
| This user is known to spread misinformation | This badge is assigned to users who have or are purposefully spreading false information about Boomerang or Boomerang staff members. |
| This bot is associated with bad actors | This badge is assigned to bots that are operated by developers who have malicious intents. We strongly advise against using these bots. |
