Points

Track moderation actions using a point system

Boomerang allows you to track the standing of your server members using points. When a user in your server is moderated via Circle, Boomerang will automatically assign points based on the action. You can customize the amount of points per action to fit your moderation style.

Before using point-related commands, you should configure the permissions. Only users with Management or Discord Moderator permissions can access point commands.

  1. Navigate to the Boomerang dashboard and locate the Points plugin on the overview page. Click “Enable” to activate it.
  2. Once enabled, open the plugin’s settings by selecting “Configure” from the overview page or by navigating directly to the Points page within the dashboard.

Maximum Points

The maximum points a user can reach before triggering an automatic action (e.g., ban).

Delete Time

Number of minutes before the points message is automatically deleted.

Moderators can view and adjust points as needed. The following commands are available.

Shows the complete log of point changes for a user, including manual adjustments.

/points view

Displays your own points if no user is specified, or another user's points if a user is mentioned.

/points editAdd or remove points from a user manually.
