Boomerang allows members to verify their Discord accounts with their Roblox accounts, helping server administrators maintain an organised and secure community. This verification process helps prevent impersonation, strengthens member trust, and enables more effective moderation throughout your Discord server.
If you receive the error message “You are not authorised to use this application”, it indicates that your Roblox account age is set to under 13. Accounts with this age setting are restricted from using the application due to platform limitations.
Roblox Verification ConfigurationCopy link to section
- Navigate to the Boomerang dashboard and locate the Roblox Verification plugin on the overview page. Click “Enable” to activate it.
- Once enabled, open the plugin’s settings by selecting “Configure” from the overview page or by navigating directly to the Roblox Verification page within the dashboard.
- If you are a Boomerang Premium subscriber, you may also customise the Verification Page Background and What Happens Next portion of the plugin.

- Run the
/verifycommand within your Discord server. - Select the Verify Account button to begin the process.
- Authorise the application with Discord, ensuring you are signed in to the correct Discord account to avoid verification issues.
- Authorise using your Roblox account, confirming that it is the account you wish to verify.
Configure Verification EmbedCopy link to section
- Invite Discohook Utils to your server.
- Run the
/webhook createcommand using Discohook Utils to generate a webhook. - Select "Use in Discohook" to customise the embed design to your preference.
- Once the embed is configured, send it to the desired channel.
- Right-click the message you have just sent, select Apps, then choose Button & Components from Discohook Utils.
- Create a link button.
